I grew up in the northern Minnesotan town of Finland, a small community of less than 200 people tucked away in the quiet north woods. I spent most of my life on the North Shore, finally making my move to the big city in 2010 at the age of 20. I graduated from Le Cordon Bleu, specializing in Patisserie and Baking. After school, I pursued my dreams of cake decorating for some time, soon realizing that it wasn’t really what I wanted to do for a living.
During my time at Le Cordon Bleu and even after graduation, I was working for Pizza Luce. One day while I was working at the Seward location, I walked into the Los Campeones Gym on Franklin Avenue and tried out the free week offer. Who knew that would change my whole life!
I began working out with a personal trainer and followed him to the new Blaisdell location and through him I was able to meet Benjamin and started working behind the desk part time while I slang pizza at night. Soon I began working full time and not long after that, I gladly accepted the position as the Blaisdell manager.
I wasn’t a high school athlete or even an avid lifter but going to Los changed all of that! I have been powerlifting for a couple years now and have competed in 3 USA Powerlifting bench-only competitions. I am surrounded by positive and hard working people every day here and they constantly push me to be better. I love my Los family!
