PRIVACY POLICY
Effective Date: July, 29, 2026 Last Updated: July, 29, 2026
Los Campeones Gym (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and safeguard your information when you visit our website, use our mobile app, use our location finder, interact with us online, or become a member of our gym.
We operate gyms in Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, Texas, and Wisconsin.
1. Information We Collect
Personal Details
Your name, email address, phone number, and ZIP code — collected when you sign up for a membership, join a class, subscribe to our newsletter, contact us, or create an account in our mobile app.
Fitness Information
If you choose to share it, we collect your fitness goals so we can recommend classes, programs, and content that fit what you’re working toward. You are never required to provide this to hold a membership, and you can update or remove it at any time.
Payment Information
When you purchase memberships, services, or products through our website or mobile app, payment details are collected and processed by secure third-party payment processors. We do not store your full card numbers on our systems.
Location Information
Our location finder helps you find the Los Campeones gym closest to you. Here is exactly how it works:
- Precise location (only with your permission). When you tap the “find my location” button, your browser asks whether you want to share your location. If you allow it, your device sends us your approximate coordinates so we can sort our gyms by distance from you. If you decline, nothing is sent — you can still search by ZIP code or city, and the rest of the site works normally.
- Search terms you type. If you enter a ZIP code, city, or address instead, we receive that text to run the search.
- Approximate location from IP address. Like most websites, our servers and analytics tools receive your IP address, which indicates your general area (typically city-level).
- What we use it for. Location data is used only to show nearby gyms, sort results by distance, provide directions, and understand which areas people are searching from so we can plan future locations. We do not use your location for advertising, we do not build a profile of your movements, and we do not sell it.
- Google Maps. Our location finder is powered by Google Maps. When the map loads, Google receives your IP address and, if you shared it, your location, in order to render the map and calculate routes. Google’s use of that data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
- Turning it off. You can revoke location permission at any time in your browser settings or your phone’s app permissions. Clearing your browser data will also reset it.
We do not retain a record of individual locator searches.
Usage Data
Information about how you interact with our website and mobile app — including IP address, device type, operating system, browser type, app activity, referring pages, pages visited, and time spent — collected via cookies, pixels, and analytics tools.
2. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, understand how our site is used, and measure the performance of our marketing.
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings and limit tracking through your device’s privacy settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the site function.
We honor recognized browser-based opt-out signals, including Global Privacy Control (GPC), as a request to opt out of targeted advertising and any sale of personal data.
3. How We Use Your Information

We do not use your information to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.
4. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We may share information with:
- Service providers who perform functions on our behalf — payment processing, membership management software, email and SMS delivery, mapping and location services (Google Maps), website hosting, and analytics. These providers are contractually limited to using your information to provide services to us.
- Legal authorities, when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or when necessary to protect our rights, property, or the safety of our members and staff.
- A successor entity, in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
5. Data Retention
We keep your personal information for as long as your membership is active, and afterward only as long as needed for legitimate business purposes such as billing records, dispute resolution, and legal or tax compliance. Marketing contact information is retained until you unsubscribe. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it.
6. Data Security
We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse, including encryption of data in transit. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we encourage you to use caution when sharing sensitive information and to use a strong, unique password for your account.
