Harris Wahidi first stepped into Los Campeones in 2013 alongside his girlfriend, who was in prep for a competition. While he had always loved bodybuilding, he had never truly immersed himself in the bodybuilding community. From the moment he entered the gym, he felt stronger and more motivated. The community, culture, and overall vibe of Los Campeones captivated him.
Before joining the gym, Harris focused on strength training (specifically strength-endurance), running, and playing basketball. In 2013, thanks to Los, he discovered the worlds of powerlifting, Olympic weightlifting, strongman training, functional training, and, most importantly, bodybuilding in its purest form. He pursued a diploma from the National Personal Training Institute (NPTI) in Edina and began performing sport-specific training for combines. Harris also developed an interest in bodywork, rehab, injury prevention, and soft tissue restoration.
His career path expanded into personal training in corporate wellness with Lifecycle, and he ventured into group fitness, including Orange Theory, Alchemy 365, and CrossFit in St. Paul and Minneapolis. However, when the COVID pandemic hit, Harris lost his passion for fitness and spent three years working in construction. While he enjoyed the work, he found the lifestyle unsatisfying.
Fortunately, Los Campeones rekindled his passion for fitness. A longtime friend gave him a job, and Harris quickly rediscovered his deep love for the fitness industry. He is forever thankful and humbled for the opportunity to work at Los Campeones, the best gym in town.
